Billings BB236 Carli - plastic hull 461092Based on a Danish freighter, built in 1902 in Svendborg with a different name. From 1933 to 1942 it sailed under the name Carli. In 1944, while underway from Wismar to Odense, loaded with coal, it hit a mine and sunk, 2 of the 5 crew members survived. Billings have re introduced the boat after 40 years with laser cut parts and vacuum formed hull, suitable for R C. Additional items will be required to complete model as illustrated
