The CallingThis piece represents a very common scene throughout the Islands and the Rideau System. In the early morning fog as it just starts to lift you can see the pairs of loons calling each other and launching themselves out of the water as they stretch their wings. Several photographs were used to construct this piece. It is a narrow one done completely in graphite and only measures 8" high by 24" wide.
