Nocturne, the Bull Rock Lighthouse, Co. CorkBull Rock sits about three kilometres off the tip of the Beara Peninsula, a jagged lump of rock with a natural sea arch running through its core. The lighthouse was built in 1889 and automated in 1991. Getting out here is never straightforward, and conditions have to be remarkably calm to make it work. This was taken during blue hour with the lantern room lit and throwing that warm golden glow against the cold tones of the surrounding rock and sea.
